Anticipating The Art-Historical Future is a lecture performance by Artist Michelle Browne that looks at the historicisation of ephemeral practice. Drawing on her own works and her research into the possible acquisition of the Arte Útil Archive into the Van Abbemuseum's Collection, the presentation discusses the various efforts to record, remember and represent performative and collaborative works. This lecture performance was presented at the Dutch Art Institute as part of Browne's MA studies.
